I installed Tetris 99 - multi-player, competitive, online, last-person-standing falling blocks game for the switch. Sam (12) left the room - apparently this game is "Old person Battle Royale" http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/switch-eshop/tetris_99
It's Friday, which means User Error Podcast day! This week everyone is wrong about music 🎧 Joe boards the RISC-V hype train 🚂 @danrabbit considers his pain threshold and @popey dismisses the conspiracies (or does he!?) 🤔.
RollerCoaster Tycoon - 12 Years of Suffering - Longest roller coaster ever created. With a title like that, how can you not click!? (It's great). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFVm5R_dxoo
I watched one video of a guy driving an old Austin Allegro. Now YouTube is offering me lots of videos about Austin Allegros. This is not altogether a bad thing. Happy memories of summer holidays trekking down to Cornwall on the back seat with my brother. (Also, <3 classic Thames TV station ID) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUG3O5imCGU
Say hello to Plasma 5.15, the newest version of KDE's acclaimed desktop environment.
Approximately ~73% of crowdfunders I have backed across nearly 8 years, have been successful and delivered a product. Of the others, ~3% were cancelled, ~9% didn't hit the target, and ~6% were successful but didn't deliver. Not bad going. I keep a public track of them in a makeshift spreadsheet - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_--0TYP3TD7i6dPnJmB9oB66iuU9_qS7ApBtKTS8bug/edit?usp=sharing
Just had some re-heated left-overs, which reminded me...I love chicken wings. Saturday night especially so. I'm keen to know how other people do theirs. I tend to do this. 1) Break wings into flats & drumettes, 2) cover in mix of spices (usually home made, sometimes a packet), 3) coat in flour/egg/flour (sometimes spices in the flour too), 4) place wings on greaseproof paper in a tray in the oven, 5) Turn after 20 mins, 6) Another 20 mins, pour warm bbq sauce and back in oven for 10 mins. Done.
