@popey I used Python for Kids in the class room with 14-16 year old students (I teach languages and STEM). I found it well written and it explains everything you need to start coding. It also introduces a couple of bigger projects while you learn, so the students have a goal and a reason to learn new things.

“Python for Kids” is rather good. I’ve used it at home and suggested it to another parent who much appreciated it for his son.
