"Just one more day," he muttered.
Every day, for nearly thirty years, he had said that. He could barely hold a sword now, and his body was ravaged from without and within.
"By what...strength, do I say that blasted mantra?" he spat, "and why must I continue?"
He knew, deep down. He had no choice; too proud to end it, too weak to truly fight. But he kept surviving Its assaults. He had to.
Even the battles with himself, those he hated the most.
Hi all, this bug has gotten worse today, as has the weather. My phone is the only screen I've looked at today as my head is sensitive.
So here is a traditional media doodle from today. Part of learning and ahead of attempting fantasy drawing.
If my head pain doesn't calm down, I'll do another doodle or one of my sewing projects.
I'm tired of having this bug/virus now.

Due to this bug, I actually managed to get up at 3pm today. But now my body clock is TOTALLY messed up. I need meds and food now that it's 2am, a bit late for an evening meal 11hrs into the day, but I need to eat.
I've also started a new #drawing in #krita. Trying to create an avatar version of...well, me. I didn't want to do "chibi-style" because I don't have a baby-face. Never have had.
So it's chibi-proportions, but not style.
1967 Enigmatic Elegance in Monochrome
A hauntingly beautiful monochromatic sketch of two figures, their somber expressions and dark attire creating a mood that is both mysterious and profound.
