From the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s, I was a daily and weekly news cartoonist for the Dutch NU.nl site and the Dutch NRC(.next) newspaper.

I chose 3D graphics as the medium, because it was novel for news cartoons, and it allowed me to build a library of reusable characters, props and decors.

Back then I worked with 3ds Max, and rendered with V-Ray.

In the mid-2000s I created a newspaper comic strip series about a sheep and a mole.

The main characters were produced as limited-edition vinyl toys and USB lamps by Crazy Label in Hong Kong, and sold in designer toy stores around the world.
